Treatment of diarrhoeal infections caused by protozoa such as Giardia lamblia and Cryptosporidium parvum. 

Also used in other parasite/helminth infections (as per physician’s direction) 

For adults/adolescents (12 years and above): One 500 mg tablet twice daily (every 12 hours) for 3 days. 

Take with food. 

For children, dose varies (suspension form often used) – consult physician. 

Packaging: e.g., 10 tablets per strip, 10 strips per box (or variant like 5 × 10 tablets blister) 

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and moisture. Typical storage at 20-25 °C.
